Attorney
E-mail: todd.ratner@ratnerplc.com

Todd began representing financial services companies and professionals immediately following his clerkship with a federal district court judge in Atlanta. He has successfully represented broker-dealers, registered investment advisors, brokers, and other individuals in customer arbitrations, employment disputes, and regulatory proceedings.

Since 1998, Todd has handled more than 600 matters involving the financial services industry. Todd has appeared before the SEC and FINRA (formerly NASD) in regulatory matters and handled arbitrations administered by FINRA, the New York Stock Exchange, the Pacific Stock Exchange, AAA, and JAMS. He has appeared in arbitrations throughout the United States, including Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, the District of Columbia, West Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Montana, Washington, and California.

Todd also assists students with disabilities and their parents to secure and enforce their right to a free appropriate public education. His commitment to this work is born out of his personal experience advocating on behalf of his oldest son, who was diagnosed with autism in 2002. Having attended countless IEP meetings and negotiated with the school division on behalf of his own child, Todd understands the confusion and frustration parents can experience when they attempt to navigate the complex special education system.
